Individual Details
Ophelia Quine West
(20 Jun 1815 - 12 May 1886)
Ophelia is buried as Ophelia West; she is also in the 1880 census as Ophelia West - she may have married a West cousin, hence her name remained West. There is also the distinct possibility she was an unwed mother. In 1860, she was still living with her mother at age 45 and there was a female, age 22, "Lavena" listed in birth order with her other adult siblings. [In 1850 this child was not listed with the family in Washington Co.]
