Although Holstead research suggests Betsy died 1836. When Isaac Burnham applied for his father's pension in 1853, he stated that at the time his father died in 1827, the only heirs were Thomas, Benjamin, and himself. However, several of Betsy's children were born following that year and she was surely alive in 1827 and should have been included.
