Mary Curd

( - 1791)

The following found digitized on Ancestry is confusing. John Richardson died circa 1753 so the following cannot refer to a marriage even though it is listed in a section "A List of Marriages from Henrico County Court Records". Possibly the court record had something to do with the estate of John Richardson, or of the estate of Mary's father, Edward Curd.

Edward Curd did indeed name two ladies as Mary in his will. Mary McBride received a bequest of a slave but she is not named as a daughter in the will - other records show that she was a daughter. Daughter Mary married John Richardson.
