Mrs. Sara E. Gabbard, who died Wednesday at the home of her son, J.W. Gabbard of Fayetteville was buried Thursday at Hester cemetery near Baldwin, following funeral services held by Rev. William R. Porter.
Mrs. Gabbard was born Jan. 16, 1853 at McKee, Jackson county, Ky. She moved to Arkansas in 1875 and had resided here since.
She is survived by six sons and two daughters: J.W. Gabbard, Lige W. Gabbard, Wills E. Gabbard and John C. Gabbard and by Mrs. Margaret Pointer, all of Fayetteville; and by "Bud" Gabbard of Sulphur City; Mrs. Rebecca Johnson of Tulsa; and Louis Gabbard of Little Rock. Twenty-one grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren also survive.
Pallbearers were W.E. Dill, F.G. Laney, Paul Wilcox, Billie Wilcox, J.L. Fincher and W.M. Blackburn.
