Grave marker has his birth as 13 May 1902, but it may have been placed many years after his death. This doesn't agree with census records since he was already age 4 in the 1900 census.

Mae Gabbard died at her home in Woodland Saturday, Dec. 17 at age 95.
Mrs. Gabbard was born May 19, 1910 in Fayetteville, Ark. She had been a Yolo County resident for 55 years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include Mrs. Gabbard's daughters, Margie Oppold and Nora Ball both of Woodland; her son, Hiarm Gabbard and Walter Gabbard both of Woodland; her grandchildren, Butch Oppold, Gail Noel, Robin McGill, Darrell Ball, Ricky Ball and Candy Narbaiz, all of Woodland; 21 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Nancy Barron of Woodland. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lidge Gabbard; her grandson, Kenneth Ball; her parents, David and Ida Wadkins; and her brother, Howard Wadkins.
Services: A funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21 at McNary's Chapel, 458 College St., Woodland with Henry Tucker officiating. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery. McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
