I found Sarah living with the family of Jacob DeVault in 1880. She was age 18 and listed as a boarder. Jacob DeVault was age 59, b. Ohio, his father b. VA, his mother born in PA. His wife Margaret was age 55, b. Ohio, her father b. VA, her mother b. Ohio. Son Geo. W. was age 21, born in Ohio. Daughter Mary E. age 18, b. Ohio and daughter Dora age 16, b. Ohio. Dora would marry Sarah's brother Henry.

Sarah married John B. Lester, 27 Feb 1881, Bloomfield. He was 24; she was 20. John's parents listed as Geo. W. Lester & Rhoda Johnson. Sarah's parents were Wm. Wishard and Margaret Breeding.

This family impossible to find after the 1895 census. FamilySearch suggests she died in California, 1907 - which has no source. However, John B. Lester, age 44, married 28 Nov 1900, in Bloomfield, to Alcyone Freeman, age 25, daughter of John H. Freeman. His parents were listed as Geo. W. Lester and B. T. Johnson. Either they had divorced or Sarah Wishard had died prior to this marriage. He married again on 5 Jun 1904 in Bloomfield to May Hatton, age 31, daughter of L. T. Hatton and Henrietta Lemaster. Again his parents listed as Geo. W. Lester and Rhoda Johnson.

There is a California marriage Sarah J. Lester, age 35 (born about 1862) - 10 Dec 1897 in Tehama, California, to William P. Smith.
Also in the California Marriages: Minnie E. Lester, age 17, married Charles C. Cowles, age 24, on 28 Mar 1900 in Tehama, CA.

I cannot be sure this is Sarah - but it does seem to be...
