John Kincaid wills to his wife Agness (sic-spelled this way throughout Will although daughter Agnes' name is spelled with one s) all his possessions during her lifetime. Other bequests to sons James, John, Joseph, Thomas, Andrew and daughters Sarah, Jean, Elizabeth, Agnes, Mary. Agness, executrix; Udley Campbell, John Garvin, Thomas Edminston, executors. Written 17 Mar 1804. Proved 2 Apr 1804.
Also John Kincaid listed as one of the original Ft. Boonesborough Settlers. From "French Tipton Papers" at the Eastern KY Univ Library, as found at USGENWEB, Madison County KY site.

The marriage of Thomas Wood and Agnes Kinkade appears to have taken place in Monroe Co, VA, 5 Oct 1802. At least there is a marriage record there - it seems a bit early. It is in the West Virginia Marriage Index. Monroe was created from Greenbrier Co, VA in 1799 - Greenbrier formed 1778 out of Botetourt and Montgomery counties. This area is on the Virginia border.
