Individual Details
Robert Green Haden
(1845 - )
1870 Census. Blount Co, AL, Hh 364
R. G. Hayden, age 24, farmer, b. AL
Jennie, age 19, housekeeping
Lou Higginbotham, age 15 [female]
Leod Moore, age 15, Black
J. T. Headen, age 7 months, male [apparently Robert & Jennie's child]
Hh 365 - William Higginbotham, age 22, b. AL
1880 Census gives Robert's father born in Georgia. His brother-in-law William Higginbotham and his three children were living with them. Although this Haden family has been linked to Anthony Haden of Goochland, the assumption is incorrect. Robert Green's father, George S. Haden/Hayden, came to Alabama by way of Georgia. He was apparently not related to the family of Anthony Haden of Goochland.
