ROY WOOD RITES
Funeral services were held today in the Little Chapel of the Valley for Roy Wood, 63, of Route 1, Box 1420, French Camp, who died Friday in a Stockton hospital. a native of Van Buren, Ark., Wood had lived in the local area for the past ten years.
Mr. Wood is survived by his wife, Kay, of French Camp; two sons, Pete Wood of Eureka, and Watt Wood of Napa, and several brothers and sisters.
Interment was at Cast Bonita Mausoleium. DeYoung Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

MANTECA - Final rites will be conducted at 1 pm Friday in the chapel of P. L. Fry & Son for Wayne Elvin Wood, 54, who died Tuesday in the county hospital in French Camp after a short illness.
Committal will be in Park View Cemetery.
Visitations will be from 10 am to 7 pm today at the chapel.
A native of Kansas City, Mo., Wood had lived in French Camp for 25 years. He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. He had been an employee of the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory in Livermore the past 12 years and was a stationary engineer with the Stockton State Hospital for 15 years.
He leaves his widow Mildred of French Camp; a son, Jack Wood of French Camp; two daughters, Stacey Uphaus of French Camp and Dolores Wood of Arkansas, and two brothers.
The family requests that any remembrances to given to the American Cancer Society.
