I find NO proof this man was a son of Davidson Jones. His given name suggests a mother or grandmother with the surname "Johnson" or "Johnston". He is placed in this family but I find his placement to be arbitrary. In the few available records his birthplace is Tennessee - yet Davidson Jones was in Buckingham County, Virginia in 1810 - further making any relationship unlikely.
