Found as "Jonathan Davidson Jones" on some websites including FindAGrave.

There is no record that his name is Jonathan--only name by any researcher I have seen is the given name of Davidson. This is the name given by Tim Huddleston, genealogist for Pickett County at one time and published his book on Pickett County Families. It is the only name given in the most recent book on the history of Pickett County. It is the only name given in Jack Ferguson’s book in 1986. It is the only name to my knowledge recorded on any source record. The only name given in Records is "Davidson Jones". His wife according to Baptist Church records was named Rachel. They were as far as known the parents of Abraham Jones and his siblings. Davidson and wife Rachel Jones (no maiden name given) were received by letter in 1825 into the Clear Fork Baptist Church in then Cumberland County, Kentucky, now Clinton County. Clinton County did not become a county in Kentucky until 1835, carved from Wayne and Cumberland counties. In July 1851 Brother Davidson Jones and his wife Rachel dismissed by letter, meaning they were moving to another church and in October 1851 received by experience into the Wolf River United Baptist Church in what was then Overton County, Tennessee. This would have meant they relocated from Kentucky to Tennessee. There were no minutes during the Civil War. Rachel was never referred to as Sarah in the Clearfork or Wolf River Baptist Church Records. Davidson and Rachel Jones would have been married in VA and therefore their son Abraham born in Buckingham County, VA. as were several of their other children. Rachel’s death and birth were recorded in the Wolf River Baptist Church records upon her death.
I have left the children intact for now but believe their parents were Davidson Jones and wife Rachel. She is the only sourced wife with church records, and the only wife ever mentioned except for Jack Ferguson in his book.

Children listed at FamilySearch, several of which have entries at FindAGrave with no grave stone, or proof cited for data. Those in bold the most likely The older children possibly born Buckingham Co, VA.
Abraham (1793-1883) apparently had children named Rachel & Davidson
Susannah (1795-?) m. Alexander Beaty - no proof cited
Margaret (1796- ?) - no proof cited
Judith (1799-1890) m. Samuel Thrasher. In Cumberland, Co KY in 1850 and 1860. A son was apparently Davidson or Davidson Jones Thrasher
Roland (abt 1800-1862) Died Overton Co, TN - death recorded in Wolf River Baptist Church records. Not found in Overton in 1850 or 1860.
Rebecca (1802- ?) No proof.
Wilson L. Jones (1803-1887) Buried Clinton Co, KY. m. Olive Burchett. A will of James Jones of Beaver Creek, Wayne Co, KY, 20 May 1843, names a son as "Whilson Jones" who was one of the executors of the will. Researchers claim this is the Wilson married to Olive Burchett.

Johnson Jones (1807-1879) m. Sarah Boring. 1850, Knox TN; 1860, Morgan, TN; 1870, Clinton, KY. None of his children had family names from this Jones family. It would seem more likely he had a mother, or grandmother who surname was Johnson.
Fleming Jones (1809-?) m. Hannah Ferrell. Has Davidson in his household in 1850.
Anderson David Jones (1811-1882) b. Cumberland Co, KY, died Union Co, IL. Twice married - to Ruth Dillon & Mollie Rayburn. From Jonesboro Gazette July 22, 1882: "Anderson Jones, aged about 60 years, was hit on horseback by a runaway team last Monday on Heacock Street in Jonesboro and died Tuesday, July 18, 1882. He killed his son (William George "Bill") in April, 1882 in self defense. Anderson was the head of the Jones family and came to Anna from Tennessee before the Civil War." 1860 census, Ripley Co, MO, in which persons are identified mostly by a first initial, has in his household an "E. Jones, age 80, female, birth place unknown" = this could not be Rachel, proposed mother, who was in Overton, TN. It is odd that he was in Missouri in 1860. In 1880 he was in Union Co, IL in the household of his son John.
George Jones (1817- ?) In 1850, Overton Co, TN, a James Jones, age 51, has living in his household, a George Jones, 33, b. TN. James not even listed here as a child but he is living next to Flemming & Davidson Jones.
Added by me: James, b. 1799.
