Abraham supposedly had a son named Davidson, b. 1829, d. 1840 - story related on FamilySearch ID #KFLM-722
Davidson Jones was born with a full set of teeth. By the time he was 10 or 11 years old he was grey headed as any old man, and had a full set of beard. He had the ways and mind of any child of his age. He was also the size of a man with a waist span of 42 inches.
His daddy left home and went to Virginia on some kinda of business to be gone for a few weeks and as he left home Davidson climbed up on a rail fence and watched him out of sight, then went to the house and told his mother that he would never see his daddy again. That he would die before his daddy returned. A short time afterwards he told his mother to wash and shave him and to kill a hen and cook a big kettle of chicken and dumplings for he was going to die that day. She did so and while she was preparing the dinner he was out playing marbles with the other children and in gun struck his brother Samuel with his fiat hard enough on knock him down.
When dinner was served he ate a hearty meal then asked his mother to fix his bed, he then lay down and soon died. They called in a doctor in and he said that it was old age that killed him.
This story has been handed down from his brother Samuel Jones to his children.
