I am 7 th generation from Owen Davis, born 1725, North Wales, immigra ted to Am erica 1750, settled in Georges Twp, Fayette Co, PA about 1772 . He had e ight sons born in this area. I am a descendant of Meshack, o ne ofthe ei ght, who moved west in 1814 to Morgan Twp. One of his close f riends inP A was Warner Wynn, they were in Fayette Co. Militia toge ther. War ner Wynn emmigrated to Morgan Twp about the same time. Warner W ynn is b uried in the New London Cemetery in Shandon near many of my re latives. W arner is a distant relative of my first cousin, Harold D avis Hear d.
