Charles was a dentist in Kansas City, Missouri, and married on 27 October 1909 to Myrtle Hope Malloy, who died in 1942.

There were no children born of the marriage.

Gillham, 80 years old, 1610 Arlington avenue, Independence, a dentist here almost fifty years, will be held at 3:30 o'clock Monday at the Stine and McClure chapel, 3235 Gillham plaza.
