William Enloe, son of Enoch and Elizabeth Louisa (Kirkpatrick) Enloe, was born 25 July 1850 in Iowa County, Wisconsin, the couple's youngest child. He died at his home at River Falls, Wisconsin, 10 December 1924 at age 74. In 1870 he married Mary E. Thompson, who was born ca. 1852 in Wisconsin.

Mr. Enloe was a farmer all his life and only moved to River Falls about four years prior to his death. He joined the Methodist Church in 1882 and became active in it's work. He is buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville, Wisconsin.

There were eight children born to this marriage.
