McKinney Courier Gazette, McKinney, Texas, Friday, October 18, 1968, Page 7, Col. 8: Ed S. Apple passes away; rites Sunday. Ed S. Apple, 69, died early Friday at his residence, Rt. 2, Lewisville. He was born in McKinney, November 28, 1898, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Apple. He was a retired real estate dealer, and a member of the First Methodist church in Denton. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Imogene Apple. of Lewisville; four brothers, Col. George Apple of Fairview; Cecil apple of Ft. Worth; Fred Apple of McKinney; Walter B. Apple of Richardson; sister, Mrs. Fred Dickinson of McKinney and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Turrentine-Jackson Chapel with burial in the Old Hall cemetery at Lewisville.
