Cora Ethel Nevill

The Bonham Daily Favorite, Bonham, Texas, Thursday, June 2, 1955, Page 2, Col. 3: Mrs. Biggerstaff Services Friday. Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Cora Ethel Biggerstaff, 84, Friday at 3 o'clock in the Wise Chapel. She had been a resident of Fannin county for over 80 years. Mrs. Biggerstaff died at 8 o'clock, Wednesday at her residence, 112 West 8th street, where she resided with her daughter, Miss Ruth Biggerstaff. Her illness had lasted over a period of years. In January, 1953, she received a fall and a hip injury had confined her to her bed since that time. The Rev. Stone Risinger, pastor of the First Methodist church, assisted by Rev. James A. Underwood, pastor of the First Christian church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Willow Wild cemetery with Wise Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be by J. W. Cummingham, Emmett Thompson, Elbert hopper, Walter Boyd, Ray and George Biggerstaff. A native of Du Quoin, Ill., Mrs. Biggerstaff was born May 28, 1871 and was the daughter of the late J. M. Nevill and Edith Kirkpatrick.
