Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, June 23, 2005: Lillian Lorene Parker, 74, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, June 19, 2005 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Parker, the daughter of the late Dewey Sheldon and Zelma Pearl (Smith) Wright, was born June 4, 1931 at Rombauer. A retired nursing assistant, she was of the General Baptist faith. During her earlier years, she was active with the Margaret Harwell Art Museum. Mrs. Parker enjoyed spending time with her family, growing flowers, bird watching and reading. Mrs. Parker's husband, Roger Parker, preceded her in death in November 1981. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Hurst and husband Brian, Susan Cato and husband, Randal, of Poplar Bluff; two sons, David Wright and wife, Marlena of Spanaway, Wash. and James McCrellis and wife, Tonya, of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren, Dayna Barr, David Sheldon Wright and James Dewey McCrellis; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell funeral Chapel. A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, with the Rev. Rich White officiating.
