Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, August 29, 1966, Page 10, Col. 3: Dewey S. Wright, Highway Worker, Dies At Age 58. Dewey S. Wright, 58-year-old employee of the Missouri Highway Department, died unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack en route to the Lucy Lee Hospital Sunday. Mr. Wright resided at 300 South C St. He was born on Jan. 22, 1908, at Rombauer, and had lived here all his life. On June 28, 1930, he was married to the former Miss Zelma Smith. She survives him. He also is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Wright [possible error], Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Marion Wright and C. E. Wright, both of Poplar Bluff, and four grand children. Funeral services for Mr. Wright, who was a veteran of World War II, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Greer Croy and Fitch Funeral Chapel with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. The minister will be Father Louis Wyrach.
