Obituary posted at findagrave.com: Twin Falls---Mrs. Lois Stanhope Whaley, 75, former Twin Falls and Jerome resident died Sunday evening in Santa Rosa, Calif. She was born Sept. 6, 1896, at Green Forest, Ark. She was the widow of the late Thomas M. Whaley, who preceded her in death in 1936. She moved to California in 1966 to be near her son. Survivors include one son, Paul M. Whaley, Rohnert Park, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Ione Browning, LaGrande, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Mable Jennings, Green Leaf, Idaho; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at White Mortuary. Final rites will be in the Jerome Cemetery. friends may call Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the mortuary.
