Mrs. Ida Malissa Stanhope, 82, of 1015 Roosevelt Avenue, died last night in a Nampa hospital after a short illness. She was born Dec. 27, 1870 in Iowa, and was reared in Arkansas. Mrs. Stanhope moved to Jerome in 1919 and to Boise Valley 10 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Cecil Stanhope, Oroville, Calif., and Leonard Stanhope, Williams, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Whaley, Twin Falls, and Mrs. Mable Jennings, Nampa; two brothers, Charles Frazier, Green Forest, Ark., and Robert Frazier, Moberly, Mo.; 22 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Services will be tomorrow at 3 p.m. in the Alsip Chapel. Dr. Dallas McNeil of the Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in Kohlerlawn Cemetery.
