Neill Kirkpatrick, a 20-year resident of Dolton, formerly of Chicago's Roseland neighborhood, died Jan 4, at Ingalls Memorial Hospital, Harvey. Services were Jan. 8 with a prayer service at Thornbridge Funeral Home, Dolton, and a Mass at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, South Holland. Interment was in Oakland Memory Lanes Cemetery. Mr. Kirkpatrick was born Dec. 18, 1918, in Sparta. He was a retired turck driver for Interstate Trucking and a school bus driver for Alpha Bus Line. He was a World War II Army veteran and a volunteer for Ingalls Memorial Hospital. Mr. Kirkpatrick is survived by his wife, Ellen (nee Bagley) [Begley]; a daughter, Marcia Berst of Colorado; three sons, Ron of Colorado and Rob and Rick, both of Florida; a sister, Helen Caraker of Anna; and many grandchildren.
