Mrs. I. A. McNeal died at her home, eight miles north of Brady, on Sept. 12, 1919. Effie Florence Ristine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Ristine. was born Nov. 24, 1878, at Osceola, Clark Co., Iowa, and removed with her parents to Dawson County Nebraska, in 1880. She was married in 1898 to Isaac A. McNeal, and to this union eight children were born, all of whom, with her husband, survive her. she leaves also two brothers and four sisters, Hiram and Warren Ristine, Mrs. A. E. Anderson and Mrs. S. C. Tubbs, of Gothenburg, Mrs. I. L. Small of Cozad and Mrs. D. B. Saunders of North Platte. Mrs. McNeal was converted early in life and united with the Methodist church. She was a Christian always, a kind, true companion and affectionate mother. During the last eight years of her life she was blind, an affliction that was cheerfully and patiently borne. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church in this city last Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. A. I. Osborne. Interment was at Grandview cemetery.
