Kirkpatrick, veteran physician of Taylor, died at his home in Taylor Wednesday night, December 7, at the age of 77. Funeral services were held at the Condra Memorial Chapel Saturday morning at 10 o'clock conducted by the Rev. H. L. Chaney. Interment was in the Taylor City Cemetery.

Dr. Kirkpatrick was born at Commerce, Texas on Sept.. 29, 1889, and was married to Miss Marjorie Thomson who died in 1965. He is survived by three daughters, Dr. Marjorie Ruth Kirkpatrick of Taylor, Mrs. John J. Hannan of Houston and Mrs. Robert G. Mitchell of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; two sons, Dr. R. H. Kirkpatrick of Taylor and C. V. Kirkpatrick of Austin; one sister, Mrs. Gordon Mann of Los Angeles, California and eleven grandchildren.

Dr. Kirkpatrick was a member of the Shriners, the Williamson County Medical Association and the Fifty-Year Club which is made up of Doctors who have been member of the medical association for fifty years or more. He was made an honorary member of the State Medical Association.
