First son of Tom and Ann. Born in England (from all Ontario census 1851-1891). He lived in the village of Carrville which is at the southwest corner of urban Richmond Hill (1986). His first son's name was Thomas (consistant with the naming system of the period). William is buried in the cemetery at the Carrville United Church. The original Bone family were Primitive Methodists (on census). This religion amalgamated with other methodist factions to become the United Church. In fact William was presented with a bible by the church in the four-corners of Hope (northwest of Carrville).
All the decendants of William's son Thomas have been traced and recorded by a Betty Bowen in Hawksbury Ontario. This is near Highway 11 between Orillia and Barrie. In fact they hold a regular reunion on their property. I have spoken with her but she did not seem interested in my info that William was Thomas' father and subsequently Old Tom was Williams father.
