The plantation in Nantmeal where John Goheen was living, went to Rachel Jones, who was also an executor of the estate. John Goheen living on 130 acres of land in Chester County as leasee.Property

In 1781, John Goheen purchased pew #20 in the Bangor Church. Samuel then took over the payment of this pew.Eighteen miles south of Reading is Churchtoen a colonial Welsh settlement. Pew # 20 Purchased by John Koheen [Goheen] in 1750 and petitioned for a Bible in 1748. List in 1871 shows the pew still in his name. Samuel Goheen appears as holder of pew # 20 from 1793 until 1796. Lane Goheen in 1799 and 1800, and Samuel and Edward Goheen held it in 1803. It is assumed that these Goheen's are the John Goheen family
