On April 16, 1786, at the Evangelica l Lutheran Church at Frederick, in Frederick County, Maryland, Henr y married Anna Maria Stroever, daughter of Joachim Straeffer. It i s unlikely th at Henry is the same man as the Henry Quier/Queer who en listed in the German Re giment during the American Revolution, on Jul y 13, 1776 from Frederick County, Maryland and was discharged July 29 , 1779. Henry Quary is listed as living in Sugarland and Upper Potom ac Hundred of Montgomery County, Maryland, 1783. Hen ry Query reporte d a stolen mare to the newspaper of Montgomery County, Maryland on Ju ne 7, 1797. It reported he lived eight miles from the courthouse. H e w as listed as "Henry Quary" in the 1790 and 1800 census records o f Montgomery Co unty. In the 1790 census, he had a wife and three wh ite females living with h im. By 1800, Henry had a female age 26-45 i n his home (his wife) and one aged 16-16. In 1810, Henry had a femal e over 45 and a female aged 16-26 in his hom e. He was not found in t he 1820 census of Maryland, apparently having died bet ween the ages o f 50 and 60.
