BIOGRAPHY: An excerpt from "The Query's in America" by Melba Haltom: " Isaac New ton Lucas, son of William H and Grandson of Marady, came t o Owen County Indiana from North Carolina in 1833 and entered land i n 1837. Born July 6, 1850, he ma rried Susannah Query on September 1 , 1870 and died April 26, 1944. In his youn ger years he lived on th e farm now owned by Grandson James Ullrich. When I can remember them , they lived in Jordan Village where Ethel Cook now lives, and to ok c are of the water tank for the Monon on the "Punkin Line" at Jordan."
