Obituary: Flora Alice Ulrich was born near Jordan Village on Decembe r 19, 1874, the daughter of Isaac and Susannah Query Lucas. On Apri l 6, 1892, she was uni ted in marriage with Samuel Ulrich, who precede d her in death February 3, 1957, To this union were born nine childr en, of whom one son, Dewey, preceded her i n death in July 1929. She s pent all her life except the last 3 1/2 years near Jordan Village (Ind iana), devoting her life to her family and church. She pass ed away M arch 11, 1958, at the home of her daughter. Clara, in Washington, Cal i fonia at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 20 days. She leaves to mo urn her pa ssing the children, Ada Cassida, Patricksburg; James, Polan d; Claude, Waterman, Illinois; Forrest, Terre Haute; Vernia Dalton, C lay City; Cleatis, Washington, California, a foster daughter, Omadea n Stevens, Indianapolis; a sister Anna Wi lliams, Indianapolis, (and ) 26 grandchildren and more than 40 nieces and nephew s.
