Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Anna Mae Lansing, age 69, of St. Cloud, who died Monday, January 29, 2007 at the St. Cloud Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Entombment will take place in the Assumption Cemetery mausoleum in St. Cloud. Relatives and friends may call from 4-9 p.m. on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. St. Martin de Porre Mission Group and Holy Spirit Christian Women will pray at 4 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Ann was born April 9, 1937 in St. Joseph to Norbert and Verena (Nathan) Zierden. She married Robert A. Bloedorn. They later divorced. She married John B. Lansing on June 9, 1973 in St. Cloud. Ann was a Registered Nurse, working at St. Gabriels Hospital, St. Cloud Hospital, Murphy Ambulance and Country Manor and was also a Watkins Representative. Ann also volunteered countless hours at Holy Spirit Catholic Church since 1985 as a Sacristan and in many other ministerial roles. She was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Christian Women, St. Martin de Porre Mission Group and the Association of the Miraculous Medal. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, being at the lake, card making, campfires, prayer coffee, attending her numerous womens groups, playing canasta and reading.
Ann is survived by her husband John, daughters Sandra Ann (Steve) Pfannenstein of Rockville and Susan Marie (Steve) Wenner of Woodbury, 6 grandchildren: Daniel and Megan Pfannenstein and Donald, Debbie, Michelle and Melissa Wenner.
Preceding her in death are her parents, an infant grandchild, brother Cyril Zierden and sister Ethelinda Keeler. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
