Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Philomena M. "Minnie" Hagemeier, age 86, of St. Cloud will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Minnie died on Friday, Dec. 17, 2004 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Reverend Luke Steiner O.S.B. will officiate. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud. Friends may call between 4-9 p.m. on Monday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. St. Augustine Christian Women will pray at 4:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home in St. Cloud followed by St. Augustine's parish prayers at 7 p.m.
Minnie was born on July 15, 1918 in Meire Grove, MN to Bernard and Elizabeth (Haverkamp) Imdieke. She married Egbert "Bert" Hagemeier on Oct. 2, 1945 in St. John's Catholic Church in Meire Grove, MN. She has lived in St. Cloud all of her married life where she was a member of St. Augustine's parish and Christian Women. Minnie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be remembered for her sense of humor, love of music, devotion to her church, enjoyment of travel and socializing.
Survivors include her husband Bert; sons: Ken and his wife Debby of St. Cloud and their children: Cara, Scott, Amber and Brent; Jerry and his wife Sharon of St. Cloud and their children: Broden, Derek, and Nathan; Al and his wife Brenda of Fargo, ND and their children: Andy and Kyle; brother and sisters: Lawrence (Lucille), Rose Meyer, and Fronie Steinhofer all of Meire Grove, and Lorraine Hellermann (Hank) of Vadnais Heights.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Alphonse, Benny, Leo, and Ray.
Memorials are preferred to the St. Cloud Hospital Hospice program which the family would like to thank for their wonderful care and support.
