Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church for Colette M. Ruprecht, 67, of 1140 Bromo Ave., who died Friday at her home. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum, St. Cloud. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud and one hour before services at the church on Monday. Knights of Columbus Council 5548 Auxiliary will pray at 6 p.m. Sunday followed by parish prayers at 7:30 at the funeral home.
Colette was born in St. Cloud to Louis and Frances (Huschle) Sand. She married Martin "Bud" Ruprecht on Nov. 3, 1951, at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud. She retired from Woolworth's in St. Cloud where she had worked as a merchandiser. She was also a moderator of marriage courses for the St. Cloud Family Life Bureau. She was a member and past secretary treasurer of the Knights of Columbus Council 5548 Auxiliary. She was a lifelong resident of the St. Cloud area and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of St. Cloud; mother, Frances Sand of St. Cloud; children, Mary Rieder and Bill of St. Cloud, Joe of Annandale, Gale Koebnick of Hutchinson, Gary of San Jose, Calif., Diane Ulmer of Prior Lake, and Linda Fry of South Lake, Texas; 14 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and siblings, Eva Ethan of St. Paul, Mary Jane Krippner, Del and Allen of St. Cloud, Myron of Alexandria, and Roseanne Bjorklund of Sauk Rapids.
She was preceded in death by sisters and brother, Lucille Thueringer, Genevieve Sand and infant Cletus.
