GREENVILLE - Mary Rose Dyer, 82, died Saturday afternoon at a Monson nursing home. She was born Oct. 21, 1885 in Bangor, the daughter of Thomas F. and Catherine (Logan) Wakely. She was the widow of John T. Dyer. She had been a resident of Kokajo for 50 years. She was a member of the Holy Family Church. She is survived by one sone, John F. Dyer of Greenville; one sister, Mrs. Agnes McCarthy and one brother, Thomas Wakely, both of Bangor; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Bangor with the Rev. James H. Keegan officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Bangor. Friends may call at the Harvey Funeral Home Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Endnotes
