LeBaron P. Merrithew died Sunday morning at his residence at 190 Third street. He was born at Mouth of Kiswick, York County, N. B., the son of the late Ward G. and Heneritta (Pickard) Merrithew and was employed by the Maine Central Railroad for 51 years. He was a past president of the B. of L., F. and E. Surviving are his wife, Helen; a son, Phillip of Brewer; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Kirkpatrick of Bath; a sister, Mrs. Earle Simpson of Juniper, N. B.; five grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Kelleher Funeral home, 119 Cedar street, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Friends may call anytime.Funeral Notice
Funeral services for LeBaron P. Merrithew were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Kelleher Funeral Home, 119 Cedar Street, with the Rev. J. Wesley Rafter, pastor of the Columbia Street Baptist Church, officiating. Bearers were Charles Shepley, Clarence Heath, Robert Ferdenzi, Leonard Arkerson, Jr., and Leonard Arkerson, Sr. Interment was in the family lot at Mount Hope cemetery with committal services conducted by Mr. Rafter.Endnotes
