Florence E. Mower was enumerated in the household of Curtis Mower [her grandfather], age 10, female, white, attending school, born in Massachusetts, and had attended school within the year.Obituary
Mrs. Florence E. Mower Cobb, widow of the late Bert Cobb, died about 2:30 o'clock Thursday morning at her home on Pucker street after a period of several months of ill health. She was born July 19, 1860, at Templeton, Mass., daughter of the late Marshall and Hattie Parker Mower of Stowe. Mrs. Cobb has passed the most of her life in Stowe. Mr. Cobb died about ten years ago. Mrs. Cobb leaves one son, Leon E. Cobb, of Stowe, one granddaughter, Lyla Cobb, of Johnson, two sisters, Miss Alice Mower and Miss Anna Mower of Morrisville, one brother, Prof. Edmund Mower of the University of Vermont, who is now in England. The funeral will be held at her late home at 2:30 Saturday afternoon.Endnotes
