Obituary
Hodgdon, Homer L., Jr. of Bethel Park, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Beloved husband of 63 and a half years to Joan M. (Wozneak) Hodgdon; loving father of Steven (Deborah) Hodgdon, Dean (Karen) Hodgdon, and Belinda (Michael) McGuire; devoted grandfather of eight; adoring great-grandfather of eight; cherished brother of the late Carlton (the late Faye) Hodgdon, Freda (Dale) Cooper, Shirley Hatch, and Wayne Hodgdon; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Homer proudly served in the US Navy for four years. Homer started his career as a mechanical/electrical engineer and then nuclear engineering. He retired from Westinghouse-Bettis. He called himself a jack of all trades, but master of none, and could always be found tinkering. Homer loved his family above all else. Arrangements by Beinhauer-Connell. Friends will be received at 5120 W. Library Ave., Bethel Par 15102, 412-835-7940 on Friday, August 19, 2016, from 11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., where a memorial service will be held at 12:15 p.m. Inurnment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.Endnotes
