Obituary
HERMON - Zelma I. Hodgdon, 82, wife of the late Homer L. Hodgdon, died Nov. 17, 1989, at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Hermon, Sept. 5, 1907, the daughter of Edward D. and Vesta L. (Cleveland) Page. She attended Hermon schools and worked for many years at St. Joseph Hospital. She was a member of Minerva Grange in Levant and Eastern Star Rebekah Lodge No. 36 in Hermon. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Carlton R. and Fay Hodgdon of Levant, Homer L. and his wife, Joan Hodgdon of Bethel Park, Pa.; one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Freda) Cooper of Spokane, Wash.; two brothers, Charles Page and Henry Page, both of Glenburn; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; a special niece and nephew, Wayne Hodgdon and Shirley Hatch; several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Roswell, Rodney and Leon; seven sisters, Ethel, Bertha, Edith, Amy, Jeannette, Nina and Myra; and a special niece, Janice Goodwin. Relatives and friends are invited to call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Foley Funeral Service of Union Street, Bangor, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Rick Lambert, pastor of the Levant Village Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Waugh Cemetery, Levant.
