Marriage Notice
The marriage of Miss Mary T. Sweeney of Bangor and Fred H. Lowell of Orono took place on Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock in St. John's Catholic church, the ceremony being performed by Rev. P. J. Gerrity. The bride was most becomingly gowned in white batiste, with veil, caught with orange blossoms, and was attended by Miss Lillian Connelley of Bangor, as bridesmaid, who wore pink with picture hat to match. WASHINGTON, D. C., June 5 - Mrs. Fred Lowell, formerly of Bangor, died suddenly Friday at her home here. Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Barry and Mrs. William Cooper, both of Washington; two sons, William Lowell and Edward L. Lowell of Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Ida McCarthy of Washington and Mrs. Agnes Thibeau of Bangor; and a brother, William Sweeney of Bangor. Funeral services will be held Monday and interment will be in Washington.Endnotes
