Jabez Snow was admitted a freeman at Eastham on 7 June 1681, and he served there as surveyor of highways and selectman. As lieutenant he engaged in the expedition to Canada of 1690.

Administration of the estate of Lt. Jabez Snow of Eastham included the taking of an inventory on 20 April 1691 and settlement on 8 April 1695. The inventory was sworn to 22 April 1691 by "Elizabeth ye Relict of Liut Jabez Snow." After allowance for the widow's thirds in including three sons, specifically designated as Jabez Snow, eldest; Edward Snow, second, and Thomas Snow, third.
