Joseph Snow resided at Eastham and was named Lieutenant of the military company there 2 October 1689.

The will of Joseph Snow, yeoman of Eastham, dated 23 November 1717 and proved 30 January 1722, mentioned wife Mary, four sons Benjamin, Stephen, James, and Josiah Snow; two grandsons, Nathaniel Snow and Joseph Snow; and "four daughters and granddaughters, Sarah Young, Lydia Lincoln, Ruth Brown, Deborah Snow, and Rebekah Hamilton." The identities of the two last named are unclear. Inventory was taken 1 February 1722. Since James Snow had died before his father, widow Mary Snow, and son Josiah, were named administrators on 30 January 1722.
