Abigail Gaines 2nd great aunt of Faber Miller who married Gladys Cable. Abigail was a triplet with Leydia and Obed Gaines, born in NY 1820. Her younger brother William Gaines was the great grandpa of Faber Miller. Abigail married Porter Allen and they farmed in West Monroe, NY, north of Syracuse. In 1870 on the US agricultural census their farm produced 6 bushels of rye, 15 bushel of oats, 21 bushel buckwheat. 30 lbs. wool, 15 bushels Irish potato, 456 lbs of butter and 8 tons of hay. By 1880 they were in Saginaw, Michigan. Abigail and Porter are buried at Riverside Cemetery, Saint Charles, Michigan.
