From notes by Doris Anderson - Genealogist from Fort Dodge, Webster County, Iowa (Corbin Family, inter alia): "H. L. Corbin married at Homer, Ia. May 12, 1881 to Nettie Jones who was born at Elkader, Ia. Nov. 26, 1860, she died Mar. 28, 1929 at daughter's in Fort Dodge, Ia. She was buried in Webster City cemetery, was dau of Freeman Jones who moved to Hamilton Co, Ia. 1868 to farm near Homer where dau grew up. Nettie's children were: Leola Anderson of Mason City (1925), Logan of Charles City, Ia., Bess died 1909, & Nenia Davis of Ft. Dodge. Her obit was in the Dayton Review Apr. 18, 1929."
From the Mason City Globe Gazette, “Logan Corbin was called to Webster City yesterday by the serious illness of his mother. He was joined at Mason City by his sister, Mrs. Charles Anderson, who lives near Manly.”
