"LOGAN CORBIN
DIES SUDDENLY
Heart Attack Cause-
Rites to Be Thursday
Charles City - Funeral services will be held at Grossmann's chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday for Logan L. Corbin, 62, who died at the Cedar Valley hospital, Monday afternoon at 5:30, after suffering a heart attack at his home. The Rev. Walter M. Fritschel, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church will occiciate and burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
Mr. Corbin, son of Henry and Nettie Corbin, was born April 14, 1884, in Homer. He married Agnes G. Merten, Feb. 14, 1912, and until last fall was engaged in farming 3 miles northeast of the city. Besides his widow, he is survived by his father; 3 daughters, Gloria Ann, Mrs. T. M. Ruby, Whitmore Lake, Mich., and Mrs. Noel Matson, Charles City; 2 sons, Lane, Charles City, and Lamoine, Minneapolis, Minn.; 7 grandchildren and 2 sisters, Mrs. Leola Anderson, Mason City, and Mrs. Henia Davis, Manly.
Mr. Corbin played baseball with the Charles City Teddies in 1910 and 1911. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America."
