There are discrepancies about her age. The Passenger Manifest lists her year of birth as 1881. Her death certificate gives 1885. The 1930 census gives 1884/1885.Immigration
According to the Passenger list of the SS Rotterdam which arrived in New York City on August 20, 1920 (having left Rotterdam on August 10), Perla Muszkatel was married and 39 years old. She could not read nor write. Her last residence was Krasnocielc, Poland and her destination was her husband Mushkatel at 60090 Outhwaithe Ave Cleveland, Ohio. Her nearest relative in Poland was Rubi Mosiondz of Zabiela, Poland. She had a fair complexion, brown hair and brown eyes; she was born in Zabiela, Poland. She was five feet one inch tall and had more than $50.Census
She was renting ($40/mon) 10105 Adams Ave with her children. They owned a radio and she was an alien. She had married at age 14. She could speak English and could a read and write. Her native language was Polish.Census

Services at Berkowitz-Kumin, Inc., Memorial Chapel. 1985 So. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Heights, Wednesday, May 6, at 1 p. m. Family at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Spike, 3581 Grosvenor Rd., Cleveland Heights. Suggested contributions to the Sinai Synagogue Memorial Fund."
