New Hampshire, County Probate Records, 1660-1973, Hillsborough, 41:65, 37:255, 41:116, 41:285, Probate of Joshua HoltIn his will dated 13 March 1835, left five dollars each to his children Joshua, Farnum, Hannah Balch, and Mary. His son Herman, who “has been absent for many years,” also receives five dollars whenever he returns. All the remainder of the estate is bequeathed to his beloved wife Hannah and it is to be at her entire use and disposal. Executors of the estate are Hannah and Joshua’s brother Stephen Holt
