In his will written 18 October 1733 (probate 17 December 1733), Joseph Barker house carpenter of Andover bequeathed to beloved wife Priscilla the use and improvement of the dwelling house and barn until son Joseph comes to age one and twenty. Priscilla receives all the household goods, forever, and one-third of the stock animals. She has the improvement of the husbandry tackling until Joseph comes of age unless she marries sooner. Son Joseph receives all the lands when he comes of age and he is to pay his brother Thomas £20. Joseph receives the carpentry tools and the gun. Honored father Benjamin Barker was named executor.1
