George Emerson Lucks

Jean Forney book; George was the last son born to the J.J. Lucks family. In 1894 he was working for Oscar Lucks as a
clerk in Minneapolis. Sometime in 1895 he was back in Hudson, and in 1900 he was again a clerk for Oscar in Minneapolis. By 1902 he is a typist for the John C. Johnson Company, a grocery concern in Minneapolis. A family story says that his typing was so loud the management put George in a room by himself so the other clerks could do their work. George married and is living in Seattle about 1910. In the early 1930's he is managing a grocery store in the Santa
Monica area of California. He is divorced and his former wife and their son reside in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles. He died at a rooming house on Western Avenue in Hollywood, California around 1933 or 1934.
