Frances Amelia Lucks

(Aug 1862 - 15 Oct 1928)

Jean Forney book; Frances Lucks was born in Minnesota, probably in
the St. Peter area as the 1860 and 1865 censuses have the Lux family residing
there at that time. By 1868 she is in Hudson and in 1897 is working as a
bookkeeper for her brother-in-law, Ruben Logan, in Minneapolis. In 1902-06 she
is a housekeeper. Frances never married and her nephew, Richard Trenkle,
remembers her as having quite a limp caused by a horse stepping on her. She
was somewhat over weight unlike her sisters who were all thin. She always
lived with family members and about 1907-08 was living in the Seattle area with
her mother, Louisa Krosinsky Lucks.
