Gertrude Thome, 83, of Rt. 1, Hudson died Tuesday, May 6, at River Falls City Hospital.
Miss Thome was born in Hudson, Dec. 22, 1885, the daughter of Nicholas and Mary (Schwalen) Thome.
She was a private seamstress.
She is survived by two brothers, Fred W. of Spring Valley and Raymond O. of New Richmond.
A rosary was said by the Catholic Ladies Council at the Swanson Funeral Home at 3 p.m., Wednesday, May . A Bible reading for the dead was read Wednesday, May7, at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services are Thursday, May 8, 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's chuch with Rev. Fr. James Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in the German Settlement Cemetery.
