Dec 2, 1774 from Henrietta Pye of CC, to Joseph Marbury of CC, the lease of all that tenement of land, #19, being part of a tract of land called Mattawoman or Cornwallaces Neck, and bounded by a tenement of land formerly under lease to John McAttee, Mattawoman Cr, containing about 21 acres. To have and to hold during the natural life of sd Henrietta, Marbury paying yearly the rent of 260 lbs of crop tobacco, the 1st rent to be paid on Jun 10, 1776, and every Jun 10 following. Marbury shall not make use of any timber except to make improvements on this land and the land he bought of Joseph Berry, and to make tobacco hogsheads. Signed - Henrietta Pye. Dec 2, 1774 from Henrietta Pye of CC, to William McDaniel of CC, the lease of all that tenement of land, lot #19, being part of a tract of land called Number Seventeen, and bounded by Potomack River near the First Landing, Mattawoman Cr, containing 105 acres. To have and to hold starting today and during the natural life of sd Henrietta, McDaniel paying yearly the rent of 1300 lbs of crop tobacco, the 1st rent to be paid on Jun 10, 1776, and every Jun 10 following. To have and to hold starting today and during the natural life of sd Henrietta, Wheeler paying yearly the rent of 1650 lbs of crop tobacco, the 1st rent to be paid on Jun 10, 1776, and every Jun 10 following.
